Riley's Birthday Party

We are now an official part of the daycare birthday party circut :-) Saturday was Riley's 3rd birthday party and it was in Maplewood (nice for us!) at a bowling alley. It was really fun to see Juliette see her friends there and say their names when she saw them! So cute! I tried to get a few pics...

Almost Easter!

Juliette and I ran some errands, and she just looked super cute at the store, so I snapped a pic. You'll notice her sweatshirt has bunny ears...it's a size 12-18m...she actually wore it last year at Easter time!

Sewing :-)

I am proud to say that while my blogging may have slacked, my sewing has been doing well! I even upgraded my present to be a full PJ set, with a personalized shirt! I am also just started a sewing class (3 sessions came free with my sewing machine purchase). Pretty soon my pants will be more porfessional looking when I learn the blind hem and all that fancy stuff! Hopefully I can make some more cute summer stuff for Juliette! Until then, here a few pics sent to my phone from Meghan and Elizabeth...

It's Bunny Week!

This month there are themes at daycare. This week, because of Easter, it's a bunny theme! I found a cute bunny cupcake in my cupcake cookbook and gave it a try...they turned out pretty awesome and were a big hit!

Juliette also made her first cupcake. She helped me stir the batter, and then she filled her own cupcake liner with some batter (just a few spoonfuls!), and this is how it turned out :-)

Weekend Get away at Gramma and Papa's

Here are a few of the pics we got while were were gone...there are some videos too, but they are not currently cooperating with me...

Basically they had a super fun time and EVERYONE was tired out at the end. It was SO nice to know that Juliette was having a good time and things went so smoothly. Thanks Gramma and Papa!!!

New York, New York!!

We survived :-) It was actually really nice to have some time with Joey...a hot cup of coffee in the morning and our own nap in the afternoon. Juliette had a blast with Gramma and Papa...we got daily pictures and videos. I didn't keep track of the number of phone calls...but I think we did ok!

I will take you through the trip in pictures...which, as a side note, does anyone else have an issue with taking a pic on your camera OR phone and not having them all in the same place? it's annoying to send pics from my phone to myself and try to organize. So these are basically the ones from my camera :-)

So, that was pretty much it. Lots of eating, drinking, and shows...we were pretty busy, but still managed to relax! And when we got home...it was like we had never left!
