We had a great trip to the Apple Orchard. We had a GORGEOUS day and it was really fun. We had a nice time last year, and this year was even more fun because she could walk around. I also was super pumped at how awesome the dress I made for her turned out...ok, so it was a pretty simple dress, but it was super cute and she was adorable.

Laura's Shower!!

My friend Laura is having a baby!! Her due date is awesome- 11/11...but I am hoping she has a Halloween baby! Since she isn't finding out the sex of the baby (grrr....) so we went with YELLOW! I was getting sick of the yellow, but in the end everything was really cute and I liked it! Here are the pics:

It was a really fun shower...the Jeopardy game was a hit, the food was good, and people had a nice time...and Laura got some good gifts!!! We also did an activity where I made 18 birthday cards and everyone blind picked a card...whatever number they got, that was the birthday card they had to write to Baby G. So if you picked 13, you wrote a birthday card for the baby (well, kid at that point) to open on their 13th birthday. I love to throw a party :-)

Joey and I got tickets from work to the Gophers game on Saturday, so we got to escape for a little date day :-) The stadium was cool, the game was...well, it was the Gophers. We were also able to sneak to Ol Mexico for a quick bite to eat...Joey tried fried ice cream for the first time :-)

Friday night I watched Owen while the Fastner/Pershing/Heaslips enjoyed a night out at Wicked. Owen was good when they left...about 10 minutes in he had a little delayed reaction and realized his Mama wasn't there :-) He got over it and we had fun!

We had our quarterly meeting today with all of our franchisees. We had one of our vendors present some stuff...the stuff happened to be beer :-) We also had a birthday, so there was cake. Joey is very jealous of my job.
