CDG

CDG stands for Crappy Day Gift.  It was an idea passed on to a facebook group I am in.  Basically what you do is buy 10-15 gifts for a person, and whenever they are having a crappy day, they open a gift.  You write a little message on the gift, like, "to sweeten your day" and then you put in a candy bar or something.  Who doesn't love opening a gift??  It is also super fun to shop for the gifts for your person :-)

It was a gorgeous night so we decided to take the kids up to the range!  They were so adorable...even when Dylan walked right into Juliette's backswing :-)  I hope they stay interested as they get older...

COMO DOCKSIDE, TAKE 1

I went to Happy Hour with my gradeschool friends tonight....we were excited to try the new Como Dockside (who just did a soft opening on Friday).  Our happy hour ended quickly as a water main broke and the place started to FLOOD!  Felt bad for them...we'll give them another try though!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

My Mothers Day gift is 24 hours to myself.  I sleep over at my parents and get to wake up with no kids, enjoy a hot cup of coffee, and then get joined by my fam for brunch.  It's pretty great.  The weather was awesome, so I was able to go on a few walks around the lake! It's good to be a mom :-)

BACK TO 2003...

Panoramic Blue, the band I loved in my 20's and who played at our wedding, played a reunion show...it was SO MUCH fun to go watch them and dance a little to all the songs I used to hear a few times a month.  Also brought back memories of going to the bar with my parents, as Joey got sick and couldn't come :-(

Before the show I had an hour to kill since Joey was sick....so I went to WA Frost and sat at the ptio bar myself and enjoyed some wine and a cheese plate.  Awesome!
