Halloween at home...

After a quick nap from our drive, we were off on our Halloween tour! We stopped at the Davern's, at Great Grandma and Grandpa Ungers, at my parents, and then at Karen's (daycare). Juliette was SO GOOD considering she only napped for about an hour the whole day! We did manage to get a nice family picture and Juliette got some good loot :-)

Chicago Visit

WOW! We got a lot done in a short weekend! Both Juliette and I are pooped! Friday morning we left for Chicago to go visit Meghan, Jeff, and Harrison. The car ride down wasn't that bad. Juliette took her morning nap a little late so then the afternoon nap was late (and shorter), but she still did awesome. When we first got to Chicago we stopped at another friend from high school's house, Jess. She lives about 10 minutes from Meghan. She has a daughter who is 2 1/2 and is named Grace...they will be going to DW the exact same time we are this year, so we went to play and talk about Disney :-) Juliette did awesome considering the short nap and the fact that it was time for dinner. Apparently, new toys and a plce to check out can trump dinner! I didn't bring my camera in though, so no pics of that :-( We will make sure to take some in Disney! I'll take you through the rest of the weekend in pictures...

So we had a great trip and really got a lot done in a short amount of time. Next time we see the Poulsom's, baby Grace will be here and I am sure it will get even more hectic!

Pay it Backwards...

Have you heard about "Pay It Backwards"??? So I was on my way to Chicago and needed a Caribou fix for the road...I was going to splurge and ordered a large but when I got to the window the car in front of me had already paid for my drink!! I have heard about this and read articles and had it happen to friends, but today it happened to ME! I decided to enjoy the moment...but then I thought, "should I have bought the drink for the person behind me?" I couldn't tell if the cashier was giving me a "so aren't you going to do this for the next person look" or not. I will definately do it for someone someday, but I just wanted to enjoy it that morning. I hope I didin't break a chain of 10 cars in a row or something...

Disney Planning Meeting

Doesn't everyone have a planning meeting before a vacation? And doesn't everyone dress up in the vacation's theme? No? Oh, my bad. The Fastner/Erickson clans got together on Sunday to discuss our Disney World 2010 tour. We enjoyed mimosa, and a nice little brunch. We also got to watch a slide show on the TV of our trips separately and together. That was really cool. We discoved that Elizabeth doesn't always take a great picture and Joey only owns one sweatshirt! ha! We didn't get a ton of details hammered out, but we did all talk and get super excited!

As far as dressing up...Noelle and I thought it would be a funny surprise. We planned it ahead of time and came out dressed up (thanks to my friend Laura for the Minnie costume and Target for the $5 clearance shoes!). Everyone was very impressed!

Zoo Boo

Saturday was Zoo Boo at Como. It's a fun little tradition! Owen and Juliette went as Mickey and Minnie and I don't think it could've been any cuter (unless, maybe, if Juliette was in a better mood!). My camera did die when we were at the Zoo...but I got enough pre-pictures- don't worry!
