hug!

I taught her to give a hug. This only took like two days, but now she'll do it like 80% of the time...so far :-) She did it this morning, so Joey quick grabbed the video camera and got this! Happy Sunday!! (excuse the hair and pj's, it IS the morning!!!)

teeth

I couldn't decide what to name this post...toofers, hillbilly-in-training, carnival worker...and I just decided on "teeth". She has her two little bottom teeth and they are oh-so-cute. Her next two teeth are NOT the top front two...no, no, no- they're the ones next to them. So she's going to look like a kindergartener- or a vampire :-) Too bad it's not Halloween! Good news is that the teething is going well and she's handling them great! We're so lucky!

Anyway, today I bought her first toothbrush and we gave it a whirl at bathtime!

45 weeks

And we're at the mid-point of our 40's! Week 45! I stole Jamie's awesome gift idea and gave it to a friend of mine who jsut did her 9 week picture and sent it to me...I wrote her back that i was on 45 and I think she freaked out :-) I am soooo going to miss this!

Vegas Baby! (literally)

Who doesn't take their kid to Vegas for Mother's Day? It's parenting at its best :-) We had a fabulous time, gorgeous weather, and a perfect baby...makes me want to plan some more trips!

I'll just take you though the trip in pictures...

check this out daddy! did you SEE that? better rest up for the weekend! are you ready vegas??? probably my favorite picture...put juliette into her crib for bed and she got up and laughed at us. hard. it was hilarious. ended up having to roll her crib into the bathroom at night so she could/would sleep. she did awesome! ahhhhh! in my new pool digs kicking to my toy eating some dinner at noodle asia...i tried grandpa's beef udon and liked it! tickle, tickle! waking up at 7am means going down in our jammies to get our morning latte! (she is waving here) kisses! my family is soooo funny :-) date night for mommy and daddy reading our book trying on mommy's shades jess (from our work) got married!

(current favorite phrase!) mother's day lunch at the Wynn outside our hotel...almost time to go home :-(

So we had an awesome trip! Juliette was grea on the plane and adjusted to the time difference with no issues- our flight times were apparently perfect for this! We got home a little before midnight on Sunday, and she was on her normal schedule at daycare on Monday. What a girl! I think mommy was more tired! This week I have been wanting to catch up on the blog, but it's been busy at work and at home trying to catch up on laundry and cleaning. I started this entry on Wednesday and go about 2 sentences done, so I finally sat down to finish (Saturday night!). It was worth it!

44 weeks

What better way to celebrate 44 weeks than in Las Vegas?!? We didn't have the lamb, but we substituted with parents and grandparents! (note: thanks to my mom for going to my house to get the "44 week" card that i forgot to put in my purse before we left!!)

I love target. And I love that Juliette can now ride in the cart like a big girl!! She was very excited to show me her slipper she took off :-)
