say goodbye to my 30s!

Welp, that was a quick run through her 30's! Not only is she 39 weeks, but tomorrow she'll be 3/4!! Which to most people doesn't seem like a big deal, but I still remind my mom when it's my 3/4 birthday! I hope Juliette likes birthdays as much as I do!

And OMG is it getting impossible to take her picture with the lamb (which, btw, I found her birth certificate and her name is Blanca...yes, she came with a birth certificate!). Juliette KNOWS to look for the card and won't even look at me first- it's hard to keep the card in the picture- thus, only one pic where you can see it! And then she just wants to eat the card... Since it's Easter this weekend, we put on her "These are my Peeps" shirt :-) We have lots more Easter outfits to model in the coming days!

I was working this morning and Juliette was playing in her playroom...she doesn't play "unassisted" to often, but today she gave me a nice chance to get some stuff done while she was awake! However, she was really cute so I had to snap some pictures!

Soooooo loving this weather...like everyone else! For me it is nice to be able to walk OUTSIDE! Seems so simple... It is also fun to walk to the park with Juliette because she LOVES the swing. Yesterday we went up there just before daddy got home and got this awesome pic! It's my new camera background :-)

Ok, so the video is pretty sketchy b/c it's from Joey's phone, but I didn't want her first time on the swings not to be documented! (I had grabbed the video camera when we left for our walk, but it was dead and I still wanted her to try the swing!) There is a little park by our house so we walked over there (after a stop at Unkie B and Antie K's) to check it out. She LOVED the swing and we even went down the slide. Can't wait for the 70 degree weather later this week!!

38 weeks

Busy, busy weekend! We had dinner with Joey's parents on Friday night, then I had a shower on Saturday and bachelorette on Saturday night while Joey has his golf league smoker and had to move some furniture at his parents. Sunday Joey got out to he gym in the morning and hit some golf balls in the afternoon...I grocery shopped and made lunch for the week. So now I can finally sit down and update the pics from last week! In honor of Joe signing his big contract, we went with the Twins theme. The shirt (my 1st Twins tee) is from my friend Rachel, who happens to be married to Joe's brother, Jake. The blanket is from my Aunt Becky!

biggest loser

Joey and I are losers :-) For six weeks now we have been eating some meals out of the Biggest Loser cookbook and just generally counting our calories. Joey gave up regular pop and entire frozen pizzas. I gave up candy and cookies at work as well at the high calorie lunches that were so accessible. Some things have been hard, but we have also found some really good meals! We also have a cheat day every week and have enjoyed Wildfire, Ichiban's, Joey's birthday dinner at my parents, Wine and Cheese night...there is usually an occasion or something planned on the weekend that works out! This weekend we are going to Tria for brunch b/c I have a giftcard I need to use before the end of the month! So, as much as my brother is sick of us talking about it, it has worked!

It all started when Joey said he didn't understand why he worked out and didn't lose weight. I said pizza and mountain dew! So he said, ok, I'll give you one month and I'll eat whatever you tell me to...just no ground turkey (we tried that once...neither of us liked it!). So after a month of results we just kept going! Saturday morning is our weigh-in date. So after 6 weeks, this morning Joey weighed in down 23 pounds!! He is only 10 away from his goal! I weighed in down 10 pounds, and hit my first goal! My super goal is 5 more pounds- which would bring me to wedding weight! I am already lower than before I was preggo, so that is cool.

It's nice to be losers :-)

march madness

March Madness is Unkie B's favorite time of year. His favorite team is Duke, and since they play tonight Juliette thought she would bring Unkie B over a good luck treat. Hope it works, but if not, you can't be mad at a baby! The pictures are horrible quality, as there is like a 3 second delay in my camera phone, but it's all I had with me...

Go Duke! (on a side note, I can't believe that I went to 3 stores and none of them had basketball cupcakes...)

37 weeks!

I am actually posting her pictures on Thursday! Yay! Today is my Aunt Ann's birthday...she's actually not my aunt and all, but the only person who I call "aunt", which is weird. I didn't call her, but I know she checks this blog, so I thought I would let Juliette give her the little shout out :-) I though it would be a little easier, but that whole "put everything in your mouth" phase is too much to battle!

Yup, got it again. Hey, I know you're over here, you're not fooling me! Ok people, where is my card? on the move....

These past few days have been so awesome! We have gone on so many walks just LOVING the weather. We even got Grampa Steve-O out for a walk...he said he was sore after, but that's good for him. Today was also the first day of he new swimming session. Juliette is still in the same class but it's awesome because she is the best :-) She is also the youngest. Last session the other kids were 7, 9, and 13 months when we started. This session there are a few 2yr olds. Juliette did super awesome today and was the only one not to cry! Such a proud mamma :-)

HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY!

Joey and I are both Irish, so our baby has a good amount of Irish in her! Also, one of the joys of girls clothes....newbon sized dresses can become 8 month shirts!
