Happy Birthday Grampa Steve-O!

We celebrated Grampa Steve-O's birthday with some pizza and cake...a simple night just hanging out together with the fam. I guess I didn't get any pics of the festivities, but I did get a few cute ones of grampa and Juliette playing...

anna banana is 30...almost

Anna's birthday isn't technically until the 28th, but her fiance threw her a sweet 30th birthday bash! Anna always wanted a mexican wedding...margaritas and maracas...but knew that probably wasn't going to happen! So for her 30th Chad surprised her with a Mexican themed fiesta! This wasn't a buy-some-sombrero-napkins kind of a party...he went all out! She was greeted by a Mariachi band, it was catered by Pepito's, there was plenty of Mexican beer, and of course, a pinata. Chad scores big points for this one!

HAPPY 30th ANNA!

On Saturday when Joey was golfing I met my friend (and tattoo twin) from college, Andrea, and her little boy Tavien at the zoo. I also swear that Juliette can say zoo, but who knows?!? Anyway, it was nice to catch up with her and see her little boy. And his goal, at 16 months, was to make this blog! He did it! Congrats Tavi! Hope to see you again soon!

Princess

Unkie B and Antie K came over to bring Juliette her real birthday present (the tupperware and book weren't it...). They had looked for weeks before her birthday and found it, but it didn't ship until mid-July! However, it was totally worth the wait! They got her a cute little rocking horse from Pottery Barn Kids...and I love it!!! She loves it too, but I REALLY love it....so perfect and cute. Kristine had a name for her rocking horse when she was little (Buster), so I told Joey we needed a name for this one...we decided on Princess, as this is a girl rocking horse!

At first, she wasn't crazy about riding her: But she did like to pet her and give her kisses...and now she loves her!

We're moving offices (back to the GM St. Paul location- yay!) at the end of the month, so it's been a busy time for mom! I had to run to St. Paul on Wednesday to look at paint/carpet samples, so Juliette came with me! We sat outside while we waited for Paul to get there...she was really good, ate her crackers and loved watching the cars on Grand.

Ahhh, Chuck-E-Cheese...remember the ball pit? Remember when you were too big but still wanted to go in...or was that just me? There were some balls on sale at Target so I got some for her Pack-n-Play that is still downstairs...it will keep her busy for a little bit if I need to keep her contained :-)

lost camera = $1

I haven't update the blog for a while because I had "lost" my camera. "Lost" means that I misplaced it and wasn't really willing to look very hard for it. Joey says I lose things all the time, I say I just talk out loud while trying to find them so it seems worse. Anyway, the two things I have been looking for (lately) have been Rian and Noelle's wedding present and my camera. One night he told me he'd give me all the one dollar bills he had if I found ONE of those things in 10 minutes. Game on. I found the camera in about a minute (sorry Noelle, I will get on the gift next!)...it was in the diaper bag...yes, I had looked there before, but not really hard and there are a million pockets in that thing! Anyway, turns out Joey only had $1, but I gladly took it and the first pic with my newly found camera was Juliette and me with the money!! So that is why you will find about 8 new entries...I'll get back to staying on top of it! This has been a crazy month!

This kid likes playing in the trash. Gramps Steve-O makes sure he doesn't empty his office trash so that Juliette can play with it when she comes over...ahh, the simplicity of a one-year-old. It pretty much goes like this:

Every Wednesday morning we met Gramma Jule for breakfast at Twisted Fork. We have a "breakfast meeting". Juliette is a really good diner and gives smiles to all our servers!
