WASHING MACHINES REALLY DO EAT SOCKS!

Soooo...we thought our washing machine broke.  It stopped in the middle of a load of Joey's laundry.  He was not happy :-(  Luckily his brother was over and was able to take it apart and find the problem.  I was literally shopping for a new machine when they discovered a SOCK that made it into its way into the valve/pipe/thing Joey is holding in the picture.  We got lucky!

A QUIET MAMMA JULIETTE DAY

After Juliette had small fever again last night (and had to miss gymnastics- boo), we thought it was best to chill today.  We did venture to the mall for a quick ride on the "horsies"- a favorite of hers!

 

And then she seemed to perk right up...

This pic is from last night, but I didn't get home until almost this morning, so we're gonna count it!  My gradeschool friends had our first Monday of the month happy hour...and one member missed out because, well, she had a baby.  So we did a little toast!  Congrats to Sarah and baby Dash!

SICK DAY

Ugh, rough start to what was supposed to be our first normal week in a while!  We had a week of no daycare, a week of vacation, and now I have to keep Juliette home today.  Not exactly the best use of vacation days early in the year!  Luckily, I was able to shift my work schedule from noon-8 and my dad could take Juliette for the afternoon!  She was complaining last night that her ear hurt, so I did bring her in to the Target Minute Clinic (where my college friend is the PAC, so it's really nice!!) and sure enough she had an ear infection.  The only good thing about all this is how NICE it is for your child to be able to tell you what is wrong!!!
