Eggs

I love anything that requires/suggests some sort of craft or project needs to be done...which honestly, can just be a Tuesday in my opinion!  Juliette could actually DO the Easter eggs this year so that was really fun (for her AND me!).

2 weeks

So, I asked my friend Jamie (who got the lamb for Juliette) for some new cards for Dylan...well, she sent a whole new kit!!!  So from now on, Dylan will be pictured with his monkey :-)  Thanks so much Jamie- we love it!!

I got the lamb out for Dylan :-) One the back of the cards for Juliette I would usually write a few things down about the week, but I never really put that in the blog...I will try and share a few Dylan tidbits with his weekly picture!

Chris and Amy sent some flowers for Dylan being born...they were insane!! I made Juliette stand next to them so you could see how big they were!  Thanks!!

Well, after a nice mild March and a walk up to the hospital, Dylan came bursting into the world!

Birth story (short version): I had felt a little "crampy" during the day, but nothing consistant or "5-minutes" apart, but we still decided to go in the the hospital. Since it was so nice out, we walked.  After they decided I was progressing enough to stay (I swear the one nurse thought I was full of it), they moved me to room 10. I said, "listen, I don't want to miss my epidural window and I know you have to track down the dr and I need to sign stuff, so please start that"...never got that far. My water broke (I now know what that really means), I went from 5cm to 9cm in about 20 minutes, never got my epidural. They got me into position, I was at a 10.. did 2 pushes (and 2 f-bombs) and Dylan was out. I will say I have efficient births :-) It happened so fast it was crazy!

Remember these "painting" books where the paint was on the page and all you had to do was use water...I think the non-mess of this is very appealing.
